Opening it the first time
The Mac app is not yet signed by Apple, so macOS stops it the first time you open it. You do this once for each version you install:
- Open the .dmg and drag Solid Accounting Desktop into Applications.
- Open the app. When macOS says it can't be opened, click Done.
- Go to System Settings → Privacy & Security, scroll down, and click Open Anyway next to Solid Accounting Desktop.
- Enter your Mac password, then click Open Anyway once more.
On macOS 14 or earlier you can instead Control-click the app, choose Open, then Open.
